Lorraine Robertson BA, PGCE, DE
Founder of Universal Sound Alchemy, Lorraine Robertson is a musician, sound researcher, and frequency practitioner whose life work bridges the worlds of classical music, acoustic science, and modern vibrational therapies.
She trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, and as a professional flautist performed with many of the world’s great orchestras and ballet companies, including the Bolshoi Ballet, Alvin Ailey, BBC Symphony Orchestra, BBC National Orchestra of Wales, BBC Concert Orchestra, Welsh National Opera, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the English Chamber Orchestra. She also performed with iconic artists such as Luciano Pavarotti, Tom Jones, Shirley Bassey, and has played for Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles III.
Following an international career in performance and education — including serving as Commercial Director for Kindermusik International in Europe and Russia, Lorraine’s life was transformed after the sudden tragic loss of her father (also her first flute teacher) in 2021.
In her own healing process, she discovered the profound restorative power of sound and resonance.
She went on to study advanced sound and frequency practices with many of the world’s leading experts, including John Stuart Reid, David Gibson, Christine Stevens, Eileen McKusick, Anders Holte, Yuval Ron, Jeralyn Glass, Barry Goldstein and Joshua Leeds.
She also trained in voice frequency analysis with Dr Kae Thompson Liu, developing a deeper understanding of how the voice can reflect patterns within the body and nervous system.

Alongside her work in sound, Lorraine has undertaken certified training in bioresonance with Bioresonance et Santé Europe, the leading European centre for research and training in bioresonance. This programme utilises laboratory-certified devices manufactured in Europe and explores how subtle electromagnetic signals within the body can be measured and responded to using frequency-based technology, offering a complementary perspective within her broader work.
