Lorraine Robertson BA, PGCE, DE
Founder of Universal Sound Alchemy, Lorraine Robertson is a musician, sound researcher, and frequency practitioner whose life work bridges the worlds of classical music, acoustic science, and modern vibrational therapies.
She trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, and as a professional flautist performed with many of the world’s great orchestras and ballet companies, including the Bolshoi Ballet, BBC Symphony Orchestra, Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, and English Chamber Orchestra. She also performed with iconic artists such as Luciano Pavarotti, Tom Jones, and Shirley Bassey, and has played for Queen Elizabeth II and King Charles III.
Following an international career in performance and education — including serving as Commercial Director for Kindermusik International in Europe and Russia, Lorraine’s life was transformed after the sudden tragic loss of her father (also her first flute teacher) in 2021.
In her own healing process, she discovered the profound restorative power of sound and resonance.
She went on to study advanced sound and frequency practices with many of the world’s leading experts, including John Stuart Reid, David Gibson, Christine Stevens, Eileen McKusick, Anders Holte, Yuval Ron, Jeralyn Glass, Barry Goldstein, Joshua Leeds, and Dr Kae Thompson Lieu (VoiceBio analysis).
Today, through Universal Sound Alchemy, Lorraine brings forward a synthesis of ancient sonic wisdom and modern frequency-based applications, offering pioneering sound experiences designed to support resilience, nervous system coherence, and vibrational vitality.
